Two disciplines.
One way of thinking.
I’ve spent nearly two decades building software that people depend on. The work taught me to care about the details no one notices until something goes wrong. I hold master’s degrees in Software Engineering and Cybersecurity, along with Security+ and SecAI+ certifications.
Long before that, I was a drummer. Thirty-one years behind a set of quads, with deep roots in drum corps, taught me to listen closely, leave room for other people, and know when the whole thing needs a reset.
To me, rhythm and systems thinking come from the same place: pay attention to the pattern, understand how the pieces relate, and make something that holds together. That’s the thread through everything I build.
